SAGE First

SAGE First provides secure internet security solutions, custom application software and web-based database applications. The job it does: storing and querying application data reliably.

It makes the most sense for developers and data teams. Alongside the main category they mention Database. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

SAGE First is based in Amarillo, Texas. Their site is sagefirstinc.com.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with SAGE First, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
