Root AI

Root AI is a research company aiming to create intelligent robots that will help growers build the farms of the future. Put simply, it is about building, training and deploying machine learning models.

It makes the most sense for data science teams. They also list AgTech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Hardware, Machine Learning and Robotics, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Root AI is based in Somerville, Massachusetts. Their site is root-ai.com.

Before you commit, look at compute pricing, MLOps features, and framework support. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
