Retrevo

Retrevo is a consumer product discovery and eCommerce company recognized by Time Magazine as the Best Shopping Website of 2011. In practice that means solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. Alongside the main category they mention Blogging Platforms, Consumer Electronics, Electronics, Hardware and Search Engine. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Retrevo is based in Sunnyvale, California. More on retrevo.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Retrevo, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
