Redactable

Redactable is a web-based application that helps companies permanently redact their confidential documents. Put simply, it is about writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Artificial Intelligence (AI), Compliance, Cyber Security, Document Management and Machine Learning, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Redactable is based in New York, New York and founded in 2018. You can read more at redactable.com.

Things worth asking about: offline access, permissions, and export formats. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
