Recursion Software

Recursion Software is a provider of products and services in distributed computing, mobile agents, middle ware, and mobile device computing. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Android, Infrastructure, iOS, Mobile and Mobile Apps, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Recursion Software is based in Plano, Texas and around since 2001. More on recursionsw.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
