Realm

Realm makes it easy to build modern reactive apps, realtime collaborative features, and offline-first experiences. The job it does: storing and querying application data reliably.

The natural audience is developers and data teams. Alongside the main category they mention Database, Developer Tools and Mobile. As a mid-sized product team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Realm is based in San Francisco, California. More on realm.io.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Realm, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
