Rackable Systems

Rackable Systems is a provider of large-scale data center deployment solutions. Put simply, it is about running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and businesses of every size. Alongside the main category they mention Big Data, Manufacturing and Web Hosting. They are a large team, 1,001 to 5,000 people, which usually shapes who they work with. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

Rackable Systems is based in San Jose, California. Their site is rackable.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
