Quarterbyte Systems

Quarterbyte Systems is a computer software consulting company. The job it does: storing and querying application data reliably.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and data teams. They also list Database, Graphic Design and Hardware, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Quarterbyte Systems is based in Oakland, California and founded in 1989. You can read more at quarterbyte.com.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Quarterbyte Systems, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
