Provision People

Provision People connects employers with vetted professionals through customized recruiting and staffing services. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Human Resources, Market Research, Productivity Tools, Recruiting and Social Recruiting. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Provision People is based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Their site is provisionpeople.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
