Project Lever

Project Lever makes starting research projects easy by pulling university resources into one place. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

It makes the most sense for teams in its space. Related areas on their profile: Database, Education, Knowledge Management, Natural Language Processing and Project Management. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Project Lever is based in Boston, Massachusetts and founded in 2012. You can read more at projectlever.com.
