Probus

Probus goal is to deliver smarter solutions for faster decisions, develop intelligent systems that transform large volumes of complex data. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Probus is based in Lincroft, New Jersey. You can read more at probussys.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Probus, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
