Pretend

Pretend is a new software for writer-directors that mixes screenwriting and video editing. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

Who is it for? Mostly teams in its space. Related areas on their profile: Film and Video Editing. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Pretend is based in Venice, California. More on pretendllc.com.

Before you commit, look at pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Pretend, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
