Prefab

Here is Prefab in plain terms. Prebuilt Infrastructure as a Service. Feature Flags, Dynamic Log Levels, Dynamic Config & Secret Management. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Developer APIs. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Prefab is based in Somerville, Massachusetts and founded in 2018. Their site is prefab.cloud.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
