Polatis

Polatis is a tech company delivering optical switching solutions for remote fiber-layer provisioning, protection and monitoring. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and businesses of every size. They also list Consumer Electronics, Manufacturing, Optical Communication and Web Hosting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized product team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Polatis is based in Andover, Massachusetts and founded in 2000. More on polatis.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
