Plutext

Plutext offers software for document processing, including docx4j for Java and Word to PDF conversion services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Document Management and Software Engineering. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Plutext is based in Ireland, Indiana. More on plutext.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Plutext, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
