Pixite

Pixite are a team of artists, musicians, creators, and teachers making mobile creativity apps for iOS. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Graphic Design, iOS, Mobile, Photo Editing and Photography. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Pixite is based in San Diego, California and around since 2009. Their site is pixiteapps.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Pixite, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
