Pixeljam

Pixeljam is a game development company that creates video games, visual art, and music. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Related areas on their profile: Mobile Apps, Music and Video. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Pixeljam is based in Asheville, North Carolina and founded in 2004. Their site is pixeljam.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Pixeljam, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
