Phoenix Software International

Phoenix Software International, Inc., is a systems software development company providing advanced software applications to enterprises. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Phoenix Software International is based in El Segundo, California and founded in 1979. Their site is phoenixsoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
