PerByte

PerByte is a provider of high quality software consulting to associations and non-profit organizations. The job it does: cases, documents, time and billing for law firms.

The natural audience is solo practitioners to mid-size firms. Related areas on their profile: Consulting and Legal. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

PerByte is based in Chicago, Illinois and around since 2011. Their site is perbyte.com.

Before you commit, look at trust accounting, document automation, and client portals. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with PerByte, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
