Pepperdata provides real-time, automated cost optimization for Amazon EMR & EKS with no manual tuning and no application changes. Put simply, it is about moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

It makes the most sense for data and ops teams. They also list Big Data and Open Source, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
