Pelican Imaging

Pelican Imaging developed a new array camera for mobile devices that allows users to perform a broad range of image edits. Put simply, it is about solving a specific business problem with software.

Who is it for? Mostly teams in its space. Alongside the main category they mention Mobile Devices and Video. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Pelican Imaging is based in Santa Clara, California. Their site is pelicanimaging.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Pelican Imaging, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
