Pelago

Pelago creates web-based time tracking and task management software. The job it does: planning work, assigning owners and seeing what is late.

The natural audience is teams of any size with deadlines. Alongside the main category they mention Project Management, Web Design and Web Development. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Pelago is based in Santa Barbara, California and founded in 2000. More on pelagodesign.com.

Things worth asking about: views like boards and Gantt, dependencies, and guest access. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Pelago, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
