PBD

PBD PBD Partners is a graphic design studio specializing in brand collateral, communication materials, signage, and website design services. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

It makes the most sense for companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Graphic Design and Web Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

PBD is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. More on pbdboston.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with PBD, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
