Payment Labs empowers startups and SMBs with enterprise grade tools and resources to make payments. The job it does: accepting cards, bank transfers and wallets online or in person.

It makes the most sense for any business that takes money. They also list Compliance, FinTech and Payments, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Payment Labs is based in Van Nuys, California and founded in 2020. Their site is paymentlabs.io.

Things worth asking about: rates, payout timing, chargeback handling, and developer tools. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
