Parla

Parla is an AI-powered English teacher, available in mobile application. In practice that means designing and building iOS and Android apps.

It makes the most sense for businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Artificial Intelligence (AI), Language Learning, Machine Learning and Mobile Apps. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Parla is based in Newark, Delaware. You can read more at parla.ai.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Parla, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
