Osprey Retail Systems

Osprey Retail Systems is a computer software company that offers retail software suite solutions for businesses. In practice that means ringing up sales in person and syncing them with inventory.

It makes the most sense for shops, restaurants and pop-ups. Alongside the main category they mention Retail Technology. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Osprey Retail Systems is based in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Their site is ospreyretail.com.

Things worth asking about: hardware, offline mode, and processing fees. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
