Origin Audio

Origin Audio provides audio software for technology companies, producers, and industry professionals. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Advice and Audio, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Origin Audio is based in Portland, Oregon. More on originaudio.net.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
