Open Robotics

Open Robotics support the development, distribution, and adoption of open software and hardware for use in robotics. The job it does: solving a specific business problem with software.

The natural audience is teams in its space. They also list Education, Hardware, Open Source and Robotics, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Open Robotics is based in Mountain View, California and around since 2012. Their site is openrobotics.org.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Open Robotics, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
