Ookla

Ookla is the global leader in internet testing, data and analysis. In practice that means storing and querying application data reliably.

Who is it for? Mostly developers and data teams. Related areas on their profile: Analytics, Database, Intelligent Systems, Location Based Services and Telecommunications. As a large product team themselves (501 to 1,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

Ookla is based in Seattle, Washington and founded in 2006. Their site is ookla.com.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
