OnBoardSoft

OnBoardSoft offers cloud-based sales automation software and custom software development services. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Document Management and Sales Automation. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

OnBoardSoft is based in Joliet, Illinois. Their site is onboardsoft.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
