OmniDex

OmniDex offers a database search engine for improving database performance. Put simply, it is about storing and querying application data reliably.

It makes the most sense for developers and data teams. Alongside the main category they mention Database and Search Engine. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

OmniDex is based in Boulder, Colorado and founded in 1981. Their site is omnidex.com.

Things worth asking about: managed options, backups, and scaling costs. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with OmniDex, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
