NUGEN Audio

NUGEN Audio creates intuitive professional audio software tools for high-end music producers, post-production engineers and broadcasters. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Audio Recording and Production and Music, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

NUGEN Audio is based in Leeds, New York and around since 2004. You can read more at nugenaudio.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
