Nomad

Nomad offers cloud-based API that adds full retail scale computer vision to any e-commerce app or retail store. In practice that means publishing, securing and monitoring APIs.

Who is it for? Mostly platform and developer teams. They also list Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision, Developer APIs and Machine Learning, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Nomad is based in Danville, California and around since 2016. You can read more at epnomad.github.io.

Things worth asking about: gateway features, documentation tooling, and rate limiting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
