NEXTStep Commerce

NEXTStep Commerce is a cloud computing company that provides software applications and B2B exchange services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list Cloud Computing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

NEXTStep Commerce is based in Leesburg, Virginia. Their site is nxtstp.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
