Nextend

Nextend is a new generation of premium WordPress and Joomla plugins and extensions. In practice that means running an online store from catalog to checkout.

Who is it for? Mostly retailers and brands. Alongside the main category they mention E-Commerce Platforms, Web Design and Web Development. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Nextend is based in Santa Barbara, California. Their site is nextendweb.com.

Things worth asking about: transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Nextend, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
