NetApp

NetApp specializes in data storage, data infrastructure, and data management solutions. Put simply, it is about running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Computing, Data Management and Data Storage. They are a very large team, 5,000+ people, which usually shapes who they work with. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

NetApp is based in San Jose, California and founded in 1992. More on netapp.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with NetApp, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
