MTA

MTA is a manufacturing firm that provides professional engineering and technical services to the US military and space programs. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Aerospace, Manufacturing and Software Engineering. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

MTA is based in Huntsville, Alabama and founded in 1984. Their site is mta-inc.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with MTA, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
