Mpower Innovations

Mpower Innovations offers GIS software solution along with GPS, mapping and SQL database services for various sectors. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: GPS, Mapping Services and Software Engineering. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Mpower Innovations is based in Iron Mountain, Michigan. You can read more at mpowerinnovations.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
