Modlar

Modlar is a platform that connects architects and designers from the world's top firms with building products from the world's best brands. The job it does: designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. They also list Construction and Web Design, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Modlar is based in San Francisco, California. More on modlar.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Modlar, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
