Mobiscope

Mobiscope is a mobile video monitoring service for web and network cameras used for surveillance. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Cloud Computing, Cloud Data Services and Mobile, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Mobiscope is based in Tenafly, New Jersey and founded in 2012. You can read more at mobiscope.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Mobiscope, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
