MobileSmith

MobileSmith is a code-free mobile app development platform used by enterprise brands. In practice that means running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. They also list Cloud Computing, mHealth, Mobile Apps and Small and Medium Businesses, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

MobileSmith is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and around since 1993. Their site is mobilesmith.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with MobileSmith, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
