MiserWare

MiserWare is a green IT software company addressing the growing need for intelligent software power management (ISPM) in servers, PCs. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Energy. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

MiserWare is based in Blacksburg, Virginia. Their site is miserware.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
