Micronexx

Micronexx is a technology marketing and solutions company dedicated to taking you from initial click to happy customer. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Micronexx is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and around since 1989. You can read more at micronexx.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
