Metaphor

Metaphor is team collaboration and strategy execution software for process discovery and discussion. Put simply, it is about solving a specific business problem with software.

Who is it for? Mostly teams in its space. They also list Education, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Metaphor is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan and founded in 2007. More on metaphor.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing, support, and how it fits with the tools you already use. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
