MariaDB

MariaDB is an enterprise open source database company that delivers innovative, scalable database solutions. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. They also list Cloud Management, Database, Open Source and Technical Support, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 201 to 500 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

MariaDB is based in Milpitas, California and around since 2009. More on mariadb.com.

Before you commit, look at response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with MariaDB, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
