Magento Commerce

Magento is a modern cloud commerce platform with an open-source ecosystem. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

It makes the most sense for developers and businesses of every size. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Computing, E-Commerce and Open Source. As a large product team themselves (501 to 1,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

Magento Commerce is based in San Jose, California and around since 2008. More on magento.com.

Things worth asking about: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Magento Commerce, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
