Lotus is the open-source pricing, packaging, and billing engine for SaaS companies. The job it does: handling plans, proration, dunning and revenue recognition for recurring revenue.

The natural audience is SaaS and subscription companies. They also list Billing and Open Source, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
