Locaid

Loc-aid was a LaaS-based company providing a gateway for mobile location data acquired by LocationSmart in February 2015. That is the short version of Locaid. The job it does: running projects, docs and workflows in one shared workspace.

The natural audience is teams that want fewer tools. They also list Location Based Services, Mobile and Wireless, so expect those to show up in the feature set.

Locaid is based in Carlsbad, California and around since 2005. Their site is loc-aid.com.

Before you commit, look at automation limits, permissions, and per-seat cost at scale. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
