Lightapp

Lightapp is a provider of resource management services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Business Intelligence and Manufacturing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Lightapp is based in San Mateo, California. Their site is lightapp.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Lightapp, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
