Leap.it

Here is Leap.it in plain terms. Leap2 is a social search platform that delivers relevant previews for web, images, videos, news, local listings, and more. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Search Engine, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Leap.it is based in Kansas City, Kansas. Their site is leap.it.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Leap.it, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
